After you have chosen and after carrying out a range, if it is a newly purchased gun, you will receive a temporary license (paper) at the store. If you purchased a second-hand gun from a private individual, you must make an appointment with the licensing officer to transfer ownership. You can make an appointment here - https://www.gov.il/he/service/sale_of_firearms , you will finally receive the long-awaited license (magnetic card) valid for 3 years. In the second year, you must undergo periodic refresher training. For more details and regulations, you can read here: https://www.gov.il/he/departments/legalInfo/training_amendments
